Full door and window regulator system models

It allows the customer to know the behaviour of each door and window regulator system component under the following load cases:

  • Force Entry
  • Stall Force
  • Down Stop
  • Blow Out

Glass and seals models

In this type of analysis, seals are modelled with hyper elastic material, which allows to calculate in a realistic way the following aspects:

  • Final positioning of glass in door and seals.
  • Optimal Glass rotation to generate a preload state on the seals.
  • Glass movement under the effects of aerodynamic load at different speeds.
  • Losses of contact between Glass and seals under aerodynamic loads.

Stiffness and modal calculations

This type of analysis locates the weakest areas and the low vibration frequencies of the model that can be paired to the frequencies generated by the vehicle in circulation.

Topological optimization

This type of analysis allows to reinforce the weakest areas and the low vibration modes with local thickness increments by adding ribs, minimizing the added mass that meets the target set by customer’s specifications.
